3 Incumbents Running Unopposed for Morris School Board

Two from Morris Twp., one from Morristown seeking three-year terms.

The school board race won’t be nearly as heated as the town council battle in the November Election, but still in need of votes nonetheless.

As of the 4 p.m. deadline on Monday, July 27, three Morris School District Board of

Education incumbents filed petitions to run for re-election for the same amount of seats.

Representing Morris Township, Prim Minchello and Ann Rhines will seek three-year terms, while Jeanette Thomas will seek votes for another three-year term representing Morristown.

No newcomers filed petitions to be placed on the ballot, but write-in candidates are accepted at the polls.

Voting booths are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
