Astronomy Course begins Wednesday in Basking Ridge

Classes offered on Wednesday evenings beginning November 4th

Want to understand more about the universe all around you? Do you find news stories about space exploration fascinating and wish you could ask questions to help you understand it more?

These questions and more will be discussed during a series of four Astronomy classes to be held on Wednesday evenings begining in November at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge.

Topics included are - Searching for exoplanets, the winter constellations, dark energy, dark matter, when stars die and SETI – are we alone? Also, how to use Internet Astronomy resources to observe satellites, the Space Station and so much more!

All presentations are done in a relaxed manner and supported by fascinating PowerPoint images.
