UPDATED: Cops: Drunk Driver Hit a Parked Car

Police say the man they arrested after he was found sleeping in his vehicle hit a parked car, according to statements from the man.

Anthony Coluccio, 22, of Landing was charged with driving while intoxicated Sept. 29, after Ptl. Jenna Landrigan found him asleep in his 1997 Green Ford Explorer, stopped on the side of Lake Road, Capt. Rich Ferrone said in a release from the .

Landrigan determined Coluccio had been operating the vehicle while impaired and had been involved in a crash, and thought Coluccio may have hit a parked car, Ferrone said. No hit-and-runs had recently been reported to Morris Township police or to surrounding agencies, he said.

Coluccio was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, and taken to Morris Township police headquarters for processing, Ferrone said.
