Cops: Intruder Broke In to Glenbrook Road Home

Alarm brought police to the residence.

A break-in occurred Tuesday at a home on Glenbrook Road in Morris Plains, police said.

According to Detective Sgt. Edward Dobbins, the Morris Plains police department responded to a burglar alarm at a Glenbrook Road home, where officers found an intruder had entered the home by breaking a window on the front porch.

Dobbins later said that the homeowner did not immediately notice anything missing, and the alarm might have frightened the intruder away before anything could be taken.
