Cops: Morristown Man Had Marijuana

A Morristown man was arrested in Morris Township on charges of marijuana possession June 2.

Morris Township Capt. Rich Ferrone said Ptl. Brian Markt and Ptl. Robert Shearer responded to an burglar alarm at a South Street business. As they were checking the exterior of the building, police say, they saw 32-year-old Josue Monterrosa-Calderon in a stairwell leading to a parking garage.

According to police, Monterrosa-Calderon was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested. He was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and was released pending an appearance in municipal court.
