Delbarton Baseball Moves on to MCT Quarter-Finals

Green Wave's Donatiello shuts down Parsippany

Delbarton started in what is hoped to be another trip to the Morris County Tournament final with a 7-2 victory over 17th-seeded Parsippany on Saturday at Brian E. Fleury Field. The top-seeded Green Wave hosts eighth-seeded Morristown-Beard, a 10-0 victor over seventh-seeded Hanover Park, on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Delbarton.

IN SHORT
Delbarton did not have much offense, but made the most of it with the help of a couple of Parsippany errors. The Green Wave scored three times in the bottom of the second and held off any Red Hawks. Delbarton pitcher Nick Donatiello allowed a couple of runs, but shutdown any attempt by Parsippany for a rally.
