Emergency Officials Show Morristown Residents How to Prepare for Disasters
Second annual emergency preparedness fair draws crowd looking to ready for worst-case scenarios.

It’s been two years since Hurricane Sandy and more than three since Hurricane Irene, but the pain residents went through remains sharp as ever.
That’s why officials from Morristown’s Office of Emergency Management, in conjunction with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints held its second annual Emergency Preparedness Fair, to help residents learn how to get ready and be safe before and during a disaster.
Government agencies at the fair emphasized the importance of planning ahead. The fair was created by the church to help the community better prepare.
