Branch Meeting - AAUW Delegation to Israel

AAUW Somerset Hills Branch Program for February 2012

"The AAUW Delegation to Israel"

The February 14th program will feature our own Arlene Inglis and Ginny Lyttle with a presentation of their trip to Israel as part of the AAUW delegation last October.  The purpose of the trip was to focus on women’s issues in business, education, and society. Of course, there was time to do some sightseeing, meet new friends, and have some fun experiencing the sights, culture and cuisine of the region.

As we learned at the January program, With Pen and Portmanteau: Well Traveled Women and Their Letters, women have shared their travel adventures over the centuries through their correspondence and journals.  Join us as we hear about Arlene and Ginny’s journey.

The meeting and presentation will be held at the Bernards Township Library in Basking Ridge, Meeting Room B, and are free and open to the public. Lite refreshments will be served starting at 6:30. Talk will begin at 7:00.
