Community Open House at Mt. Freedom Jewish Center

 Mt. Freedom Jewish Center, a Modern Orthodox congregation will be hosting a Community Open House on Sunday, September 11, 2011, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.  The synagogue welcomes individuals, couples and families to attend and learn what Mt. Freedom has to offer through its warm, friendly and supportive congregation.  This free event is open to the public with no registration required.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend with activities and entertainment scheduled throughout the afternoon.

Come out and meet Rabbi Menashe East, Synagogue Board leaders, members of Men’s Club and Sisterhood and learn about worship services for adults, children and youth, along with continuing education, social action programs and community outreach.  Information pertaining to the upcoming High Holidays services will be on hand as well as tours of the sanctuary, classrooms and community room.  Fran London, a congregant and the Coordinator of Project Shalem, a monthly social outreach program for young adults with special needs coordinated at the synagogue, will also be on hand on Sunday.
