Do you appreciate seeing antique furniture, but are not sure what style you may be looking at? Come to Preserving Your Past: Furniture Identification on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Fosterfields to find out the major American furniture styles from the Colonial-era to the early 20th century.
Characteristics of each style will be reviewed as well as terminology and tips on identification. Books on how to identify furniture styles will be recommended. Short guides on the major styles of the 17th through the 20th centuries will be provided.

The admission is $5 per car (1–2 people) and $10 per car for more than two people.
