Figure Drawing Classes at the Morris Museum
Join us at the Morris Museum for figure drawing classes every Saturday afternoon for 8 weeks (please not that registration is required)
Learn to draw the human figure from life – beginning with quick, gesture sketches, and concluding with completed drawings from long poses with artist Lauren Harden. Learn proportions and correct relationship between the parts of the body, using guides like plumb-lines and negative spaces. Experience the chance to draw many types of figures. This class is for beginners as well as the more experienced student who wishes to continue the “practice” and challenge of figure drawing. This class uses clothed models and is recommended for ages 12-adult.
The cost for this class is $235/museum members, $250/non-members, plus a supply list. The class meets for 8 Saturdays, from 10/3-11/21 from 1:00-3:00 pm.
