Five Days Left in Park and Recreation Month

There are still some events left in Morris Township

July is National Park and Recreation Month. Even though the month is almost over, there are still a few events you can attend to support parks in Morris Township.

  1. July 27: Gingerbread in July, 7pm – 9p.m. at the Barbara Amabile will share her award-winning knowledge for making gingerbread creations. Cost: $12. Preregistration required, please call 973-326-7601.
  2. July 28: Yoga for Gardeners, 11:30am – 12:30pm at the . Nicole Coons of Bright Life Yoga Studios leads the fourth of five sessions. $15 per class. Preregistration required, please call 973-326-7601. 
  3. July 29: F-Stop Photography Exhibit, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the . See the work of young photographers who took part in the First Annual F-Stop High School Photography Contest. Free.
  4. July 30, Math on the Farm: 1pm – 3pm at . Learn how basic measurements of milk, butter, and produce were important to farmers. This program is intended for older children and adults. Cost: free with admission.
  5. July 31: “I Spy” at The Willows, 1:30pm and 2:30 pm. During a special first-floor tour of the historic mansion at , children can look for and identify various objects that were important to the Foster family. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: Free with admission.
