Environmental Commission Meets Monday

Several discussions will take place at the commission's meeting

The Morris Township Enviornmental Commission will meeting on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the township municipal building.

1) New members: Sworn in will be Carolyn McLain and Ronald Goldberg

2) Application forwarded from the planning board: It's Michael Riccone, Block 103, Lot 16, 180 Speedwell Avenue. The applicant proposes to convert a building to office use.

3) Status reports: The commission will hear status reports on the Whippany River Watershed Action Committee and deer management.

4) Discussions: The commission will discuss the colar ordinance, chemicals on private land and composting.

5) Correspondence: The commission will discuss correspondence including a general permit application for the Woodland Sewage Treatment Plant on Florence Avenue and a delivery projects and construction application for the Public Service Electric and Gas Company wetlands general permit and tree/vegetation clearing.
