Five Upcoming Events at the Morris Museum

Music boxes, tea pots and a documentary film are on the schedule.

The Morris Museum has released its March schedule of programs for adults. This includes tours, talks and other programs. Here are five you'll want to know about:

  1. Thursday, March 17, 6-7 p.m.Ā 
    Curator’s Talk: Antonio Petruccelli: An Unsung American Illustrator
    Angela Sergonis, associate curator, will lead a discussion about Petruccelli’s work, which is on exhibit now at the Museum. Free .
  2. Friday, March 18, 1 p.m.Ā 
    Tour for Seniors:
    Take a highlights tour of the exhibit, Teapots by Design;Ā From the Collection of Unjeria C. Jackson, MDĀ and enjoy some conversation and refreshments with a curator.Ā Pre-registration is not required. Ā Free with museum admission.
  3. Thursday, March 24, 6 p.m.Ā 
    New Jersey Made – Musical Boxes from the Guinness Collection.
    New Jersey was once a center of music box manufacturing.Ā Learn who made these musical instruments and hear them operate. Reservations required. Call 973.971.3720. Admission is $9.
  4. Thursday, March 24, 6:30 p.m.Ā 
    Screening of a new documentary:
    Director Paul Sanderson, of Bernardsville, will hold a screening ofĀ Augustus Saint-Gaudens: Master of American Sculpture, about an American artist from the late 19th century.Ā Pre-register by emailĀ or call 973.971.3718. Free.
  5. Sunday, March 27, 2-5 p.m.Ā 
    Opening Reception forĀ Beauty in the Brushstroke: Chinese Brush Painting by Lynn Vergano.
