If You Have A Fire, It Helps To Live Around the Corner From the Firehouse

Tip for would-be home buyers: It's not a bad idea to look for a home near a firehouse. 

On Friday morning, a fire broke out in a ceiling fan in an upstairs bathroom at 110 Mt. Kemble Ave. in Morris Township. Fortunately, the Mt. Kemble Fire Station, located at the corner of Mt. Kemble and Springbrook Road, was not far away.

According to Chief Scott Lovenberg of the , fire fighters were able to reach the site quickly and put out the fire. "There's damage to the bathroom," he said, "but we were able to stop it before it spread to other areas of the house."

Residents were seen thanking the chief profusely before the fire truck departed.
