It's a 'SNAP' to Pick Zack Certner as This Week's Whiz Kid

Whiz Kid's Accomplishments:Ā Ā Zack Certner is the President and Director of a non-profit organization called SNAP, which stands for Special Needs Athletic Programs. His older brother Matthew got the ball rolling, starting a series of clinics that allowed special needs children to have the ordinary sports experiences that other kids take for granted. Zack worked on the program from the time he was 9 and took it over when his brother left for college. Now, SNAP has non-profit status, Zack has expanded its role beyong sports clinics and the group has received aĀ $13,000 grant from Autism Speaks.

Whiz Kid's Keys to Awesomeness:Ā Sheer stamina. In addition to his studies, Certner practices daily for the basketball team and works about 20-25 hours per week on SNAP.
