Manhunt Continues For Gas Station Armed Robbery Suspect

The schools near the area were placed on "modified lockdown" as an extra safety precaution, police said. The lockdown was lifted.

Police have asked for the public’s help in finding a suspect who allegedly robbed a Lukoil gas station on Wednesday.

At 11:14 a.m., the Roxbury Township Police said they responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Lukoil located at Eyland Avenue and Route 10 in Morris County. The suspect produced a weapon, demanded cash, and then fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-5 inches to 5-foot-7 inches tall, wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt, orange shirt and jeans, and carrying a black bag.
