Natalie Lattimore Named Campus Progress Activist of the Year.

Natalie Lattimore of Morris Township, Student Government president at County College of Morris until her recent graduation, received a prestigious national award in Washington D.C. on July 6.

At a 1000-person conference featuring guest speaker President Bill Clinton, Lattimore was presented with the Activist of the Year Award from Campus Progress.

Lattimore was recognized for her work encouraging students to complete their associate’s degrees and increasing access to a quality education for all.

Angela Peoples, Campus Progress Policy and Advocacy manager, presented the award, saying that Lattimore was “a prime example of Campus Progress’ mission to empower young people to make progressive change on their campus and in their community.”

Campus Progress is a national organization that "works with young people to promote progressive solutions to key political and social challenges."
