No Trick-or-Treating in Denville Monday
Cops suggesting everyone hold off until Friday.

Think of it this way: the Halloween season's been extended.
Denville police are suggesting residents keep their kids home Monday night, and postpone trick-or-treating until Friday, as dangerous road conditions, downed trees and downed power lines remain a hazard following the weekend's storm.
"Everyone is encouraged to stay inside this evening where it is safe," Chief Christopher Wagner said in a message via the Nixle emergency notification service.

Residents of nearby towns such as Parsippany, Morris Township and Morris Plains should heed the warning about trick-or-treating in Denville neighborhoods as well.
