Side street parking available, but cars will be towed if they impede construction project.

If you’re one of the many commuters who uses the Convent Station parking lot on a daily basis, you’ll need to find different parking for a few days.

Morris Township released a statement Thursday advising commuters the main train station parking lot, on Old Turnpike Road, along with the church parking lot nearby will be paved. The work is set to start Thursday night, Aug. 20 and last through Sunday, Aug. 23.

As a result, no parking will be permitted in the lots during those days or nights.
