Prep School Wants Your Blood

Morristown Beard holds 25th annual blood drive

Morristown-Beard School will hold its 25th Annual Blood Drive on Thursday, March 1 from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Main Gymnasium on campus.

Members of the community are encouraged by the school to participate. Anyone 16 years of age or older is eligible to donate blood (16 year-olds must obtain written parental permission).

The New York/New Jersey metropolitan area is currently at a blood emergency level with less than a two-day supply of certain types of blood available. Each day, more than 400 pints of blood are used in Morris County alone. One pint of blood can be used to help five different people.
