The Randolph High School Air Force Association CyberPatriot VI Open Division Blue team was recently recognized for their second place finish within New Jersey. CyberPatriot is a national youth cyber defense competition modeled after the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. Each team consists of a teacher/coach, two to five students, and up to five alternates. The team registration provides access to the software, participant materials, and all travel expenses for teams qualifying for the in-person competitions. For the next competition, CP-VII, the enrollment deadline is October with the first two competition rounds scheduled for November and December. It helps to register early as there will be coach and competition orientation meetings. The Northrop Grumman Foundation is the presenting sponsor for CyberPatriot.
