Morris Twp. to Vote on Employee Salaries Next Month
Township Committee takes care of a number of routine matters

Salaries for non-union personnel of Morris Township will be set by township ordinance on Wednesday, March 21.
The committee, on Wednesday, Feb. 16, introduced the annual ordinance setting salaries for employees not covered by union contracts. It will be considered for final adoption after a public hearing in March.
The salaries cover administrative personnel as well as supervisory personnel in the police, fire, recreation, parks, municipal court and sewer utility departments. It also covers hourly part-time help in some departments.

Township Administrator Timothy Quinn said 10 contractors picked up the bid specifications and eight returned them. Liberty was the lowest responsible bidder.
Matheu D. Nunn of Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, P.C., of Denville, was named municipal prosecutor. Mayor Peter Mancuso introduced Nunn at the meeting and pointed out he is the son of retiring Police Officer Tom Nunn, who served on the township force for 42 years.
