Summer Program Available for Young Performers

Theatrical fun is offered in Morris Township for youth age 5-13.

The Morris Township Recreation Department is offering a summer theater program designed for young people ages 5-13. The announcement reads as follows:

Theatrical Fun for Young People

This program is designed for young people ages 5-13.  It is an opportunity to learn about acting, stagecraft, the theater, and have fun. The program is concluded with a special performance for parents and the general public on Thurs., Aug. 4 at the Afraid Vail School auditorium.

Classes meet every day beginning on June 27 for 6 weeks. The 5-7 year-olds meet at 9:00 am to 10:15 a.m.; 8-10 year-olds meet from 10:30 am to noon and 11-13 year-olds meet from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Registration is $70.00 per student.
