Prince William is ready to get married. Are you ready to enjoy the event?

You know, it's hard to escape all the news about Prince William's wedding to Catherine Middleton, set for Friday. Maybe it's our love for celebrity, or a yearn for a little royal grandeur. Maybe it's just that we wish all of our weddings could live stream to gazillions around the world. Heck, we'd be satisfied if we could get people interested in watching our wedding videos when they come over to visit. We paid good money for those videographers. 

But the royal wedding has nothing to do with Morris Township, Morris Plains or Morris County in general, so you shouldn't expect to hear much about it here, in our little corner of the Web, right?

Watch the Wedding in Style: Join your fellow wedding-lovers for "The Royal Watch," at the , from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. At the event, hosted by the Women's Association of , you'll sip champagne and sample fine merchandise. You can enter the "Royal Raffle," and of course, watch big-screen coverage of the big event. But the event comes with a cost fit for a king (or at least devout fan of the prince's): $100.   2. Put on Your Best Hat: The is offering buy-one get-one free general admission on Friday for anyone who wears a dress hat. It is, of course, in honor of the royal wedding—and the museum’s current exhibition, "On the Head and In the Hand, 200 Years of Hats and Purses."

A Prize for Your Pet: The Morris Animal Inn has a special offer: If you sponsor a $25 care package for a woman battling breast cancer before the Royal Wedding on April 29, you'll be entered to win a prize for your pet. It's in anticipation of the business's on May 4, in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
