Snowstorm Stalls Wednesday's Classes
Morris School District and Morris Plains School District delay opening to give crews time to clear the roads.
The snow and freezing temperaturesĀ that moved into the area Tuesday has pushed off the start of school for students in the Morris Plains and Morris School District Wednesday, according to officials.Ā
The Morris Plains School DistrictĀ will all open on a 90-minute delay and students should arrive at their bus stops approximately 90 minutes later than their normal pick-up time.Ā Mountain Way will begin atĀ 9:50 a.m.Ā and Borough School will begin atĀ 9:35 a.m.
The Morris School DistrictĀ will open two hours later than normal on Wednesday. Bus pickups also will be delayed by two hours and theĀ Sunrise program will not operate.Ā
