Turn Over Unwanted Pills, No Questions Asked
Law enforcement agencies partner for Operation Take Back.

Got a cabinet full of pills? It's time to clean them out.
Representatives of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Morris Plains Police Department will be at the on Route 10 (located in the Shopping Center) Saturday for Operation Take Back. Note: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated the event would be Monday.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., they'll be accepting expired and unused pills no questions asked. They'll take controlled dangerous substances as well. When the event is done, law enforcement officials will dispose of the medications in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

Operation Take Back aims to both help residents dispose of unwanted prescription drugs and raise awareness of juvenile-prescription-drug-abuse-prevention efforts, according to the prosecutor's office.
On hand for the event will be Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, First Assistant Prosecutor Thomas A. Zelante, and Chief William Schievella. Operation Take Back is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, New Jersey Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration, New Jersey Prevention Network, New Jersey Chief’s of Police Association, Investors Saving Bank, Morris Plains Police Department the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
