Two New Cops Join Morris Twp. Force

Attorney swears in new officers at council meeting.

Two new patrolman joined the Morris Township Police Force Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Patrolmen Daniel Elig and Diego Pinheiro were introduced by Police Chief Dennis Reilly at the township council meeting. They took their oats from Township Attorney John Mills.

Elig comes from the Sparta Police Department. He and his wife, Ashley and son, Jackson, live in Sparta.

This is Pinheiro's first police job. He lives in Oradell.

Welcoming the new patrolmen, Mayor H. Scott Rosenbush told them they have joined a department that sets a high standard.
