Uncontested Races Set Stage In Morris Plains Council, Board Of Education

Not every New Jersey election was a nail-biter. Here's what happened in Morris Plains.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Not every New Jersey election was a nail-biter. Morris Plains had uncontested races for its Borough Council and Board of Education.

In the Borough Council race, Republicans Cathie Kelly and Dennis Wagner maintained their seats. No Democrats filed to run.

In the school board race, three candidates ran for the three available positions. Diane Del Russo, Lucia Galdi and Amy Lyons were elected.

This year, Morris Plains did not have an election for representation on the Morris School District's Board of Education. Morris Plains has one member on the 10-person board.
