Yoga for Gardeners Scheduled at Arboretum

Ease the aches and pains of a day in the garden.

There's still time to sign up for a unique yoga program designed especially for gardeners.

Those who enjoy working the soil know that it can cause a number of aches and pains. Bending to dig a hole, kneeling to weed the flower patch, or crouching to tend the herb garden can result in a sore back, shoulders and legs.

The instructor, Nicole Coons of Bright Life Yoga Studio, is herself an avid gardener. The yoga practice she has created will help gardeners to get and stay in shape for the rigors of the growing season.
