18 Cars Burglarized In Morristown And Morris Twp: Police
Police have made one arrest in connection to the overnight break-ins.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— 18 cars were burglarized Sunday night into Monday in Morristown and Morris Township, police said. All burglaries happened in the Cutler Park area.
Four of the cars were in Morris Township, and 14 in Morristown. Morris Township police said the cars in that town were near Sussex Ave or Longview Place.
All of the cars appeared to be unlocked, Morristown police said, and there was no sign of forced entry.

So far one arrest has been made. Elver Vasquez, 18, of Morristown, was charged with receiving stolen property, police said. He was served with a summons complaint and released pending an upcoming court date in Morristown Municipal Court.
"Residents are reminded to take simple steps to protect their valuables such as locking car doors when parked and removing valuables from the interior of the vehicle. People are encouraged to speak to their neighbors and report anything suspicious to police immediately," Morristown police said.
