$62K In Unpaid Tolls For One Morris County Truck: Police
The trucking company racked up 532 E-ZPass violations, police said.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Morristown driver and his boss were arrested Monday morning after police say a company truck went through an E-ZPass toll booth without paying for the 532nd time.
Rigoberto Cardenas, 39, of Morristown was driving a Mac dump truck to the George Washington Bridge around 9 a.m. on Monday when he went through a toll without paying, Port Authority police said. A records check showed 532 E-ZPass violations worth $62,262 against the account, and that the account had been suspended, police said.
The truck's owner, Fadia L. Garcia, 46, of Rockaway, came to get the truck, police said, and was arrested as the owner of the trucking company.

Cardenas was charged with theft of service, toll evasion, and failure to observe a sign. Garcia was charged with theft of service.
