$92K In Valuables Stolen During Morris County Home Burglary: Police

The burglary was reported in Mendham Borough. Police are advising residents to upgrade security systems to include cameras.

Police in Morris County are investigating a residential burglary in which someone too more than $92,000 worth of items.

According to Mendham Borough police, the burglary happened on Balbrook Drive. Someone forced entry to a side door and stole approximately $92,300.00 worth of jewelry and high-end watches.

Residents should consider upgrading their security systems to include video cameras, police advise.

"This would greatly increase our ability to identify a suspect and the prices of these camera systems have significantly lowered because the technology has become more popular," Mendham Borough police said in an announcement.
