Accident Closes Lanes In Both Directions On 287 Thursday Morning
BREAKING: Drivers should expect delays going either direction.
HANOVER, NJ — An early morning accident has closed lanes in both directions of Route 287 Thursday morning.
As of 8:08 a.m., an accident has closed two lanes of Route 287 south and one lane of Route 287 north near Exit 37 in Hanover Township. Drivers can expect 20 minute delays stemming from the closures.
In photos posted to Facebook, eyewitnesses described seeing three cars and a trailer collide. A pick-up truck appears to have driven onto the center divider. One driver reported that, as of 9 a.m., it takes 45 minutes to drive from Exit 40 to Exit 37.

There are also rubbernecking delays on the northbound side due to the accident, and typical morning volume delays going south.
