Medical Incident Likely Caused Hiker's Death On Jockey Hollow Trail: Authorities
Mark Cozin, 73, worked at Raritan Valley Community College for 40 years and was a professor of sociology.

MORRISTOWN NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK, NJ — A man whose body was found Tuesday along a Jockey Hollow trail likely died from a medical incident while hiking, authorities said. Law enforcement continues to investigate but doesn't suspect any foul play, according to Joshua Minnich, chief ranger at Morristown National Historical Park.
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office identified the deceased as Mark Cozin, 73, of Bernardsville. Cozin worked at Raritan Valley Community College from 1979-2019, according to college officials. He was a professor of sociology.
Another hiker saw the man — later identified as Cozin — unresponsive Tuesday afternoon along the park's green trail and called 911, according to park officials.
