Alleged Morris County Prostitution Ring Busted: Reports
Matthew and Melissa Bishop allegedly ran a prostitution ring inside a home on Brock Lane in Mount Olive.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Police busted an alleged prostitution ring out of a home in Mount Olive late last week, according to reports. Melissa Bishop, 40, and her partner, Matthew Bishop, 42, both of Hackettstown, are facing charges in connection, NJ.com reports.
Officers began the investigation into the alleged prostitution ring after receiving a call that there was a suspicious man on Brock Lane Friday night. When officers located the man, he ignored him and went into a home, where authorities later determined prostitution was happening, according to the report.
Officers also found heroin and hypodermic syringes inside the residence, Daily Record reports.

Melissa Bishop was charged with promoting prostitution, running a house prostitution and heroin possession. Matthew Bishop was charged with promoting prostitution, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and heroin possession.
The two were arrested and brought to police headquarters. Both were released pending a court hearing.

Melissa Bishop was arrested about a month ago, on Sept. 9, at the same house on Brock Lane, according to Daily Record. She was charged with promoting prostitution and engaging in prostitution. Melissa Bishop has a court hearing pending on those charges as well.
