WHARTON, NJ — New Jersey State Police are asking for the public's help in a fatal multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80.
The crash happened on April 9 at around 8:08 a.m. at milepost 34.5, according to State Police.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the front of an Audi SUV hit the back of a Subaru SUV, driven by Tisha R. Hutchinson, 39, of Piscataway.

As a result of the crash, Hutchinson died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The three occupants of the Audi, described by police as an adult driver and two children, were taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
State Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or what happened before or after it, to contact the Troop "B" Netcong Station Criminal Investigation Office at 973-347-1001. Anonymous tips are being accepted.
