Residents and visitors can watch the fireworks from three designated viewing locations throughout Morristown:

Town officials are encouraging attendees to walk to the viewing locations, warning that parking will be extremely limited during the celebration.

The fireworks display is sponsored by Sanofi and coordinated by the Town of Morristown, Morristown Fire Department, Morris County 250th Anniversary Steering Committee and Sanofi.

The event is part of the area's broader celebration of the nation's semiquincentennial, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

The fireworks and other Living History Weekend activities were originally scheduled for September but were postponed because of a nor'easter.

In addition to the fireworks, Saturday's festivities will include Revolutionary War reenactments, historic-site tours, and other activities highlighting Morristown's role in American history.
