Bear Goes Door-to-Door in Morristown Neighborhood

Bruin took Sunday afternoon stroll on Paula Court.

Is it possible for a bear to get a permit from town hall for door-to-door solicitation?

One Morristown resident says she saw a black bear roaming a neighborhood Sunday afternoon and had no qualms about checking out front doors.

The bear was spotted first on Peck School field, then crossed the creek and made its way to Morristown’s Paula Court. He hung around the backyard of 3 Paula Court before moving on, wandering behind 1 Paula Court before making his way to the front door.

It’s unknown if the bear knocked or rang the bell, but no one answered, and the bruin went on its way.

It was just a month ago a black bear was spotted jogging down a Morristown road on a hot summer day. Of course there was video of the jaunt, which can be viewed here.
