Event Details
In honor of the artist’s recent passing, the Morris Museum presents a special screening of the 2017 film David Hockney at the Royal Academy of Arts. Originally released in conjunction with the artist’s 80th birthday, the film allows up-close access to this 21st-century master and his two blockbuster exhibitions held at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. A Royal Academician since 1991, Hockney had a close relationship with the institution, creating both exhibitions specifically for the gallery spaces and thus making them entirely unique. Join us in celebrating the legacy of this significant contemporary painter.
With an introduction by Director of Public Engagement & Curatorial Strategies Jess Van Nostrand.
