Police are reminding residents to keep their cars locked amidst another spate of car burglaries.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Several Morris County towns were targeted by car burglars overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, police warned.
Police in Morris Township, Morris Plains, and East Hanover issued warnings to residents about the burglaries. Police in all departments asked residents to lock cars when parking them, and always report suspicious activity.
Morris Township police said the burglaries were mainly in the Fairchild area of town. Morris Plains police noted that the burglarized cars were all unlocked, and one car was stolen. In East Hanover, many of the cars had valuables in plain sight, making them easy targets.
