Dead Body Found On Morris County Hiking Trail: Prosecutors
Police are investigating the origins of the body, prosecutors said.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A dead body was found on a popular hiking trail in Morris County on Wednesday, according to prosecutors.
On Wednesday, around 3 p.m., authorities were informed of an unresponsive person found on Patriots' Path across from Coal Avenue in Morristown.

The person was later found to be dead, officials said.

Patriots' Path contains more than 70 miles of hiking, cycling, and riding trails, following the corridors of the Whippany and Black Rivers and the South Branch of the Raritan River.
