Patriots' Path Dead Body ID'd As Homeless Man, Prosecutors Say
The man was found unresponsive mid-day on the hiking trail Wednesday.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Authorities have released additional details on the dead body found along Patriots' Path in Morristown this week.
On Wednesday, around 3 p.m., authorities were informed of an unresponsive man found on Patriots' Path across from Coal Avenue in Morristown.
The man was pronounced dead.

Prosecutors told Patch that the body was that of a 43-year-old homeless man who was known to frequent the Morristown area. Police did not disclose his identity.
Police said no foul play is suspected, and there is no danger to the public at this time.

The incident remains under investigation, and authorities have not released any more information.
This man's death comes nearly a year after another man, Stanley M. Robinson, 65, of Dover, was found bludgeoned to death on Patriots' Path last summer.
The primary suspect, identified by authorities as R.E., was found dead the next day in a rundown Hanover residence.
