Morris County Park Police have released a blotter of incidents between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4, 2017.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ— The Morris County Park Police have released a blotter of incidents that happened in Morris County parks between Jan. 29 and Feb 4., 2017. Any person charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty.

  • 1/29/17: SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE: Officers were dispatched to Lee's County Marina in Mount Arlington on a report of a suspicious package by the roadway. An investigation revealed the package to be safe.
  • 1/31/17: ARREST FOR DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Ptl. Kyle Koster executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Mount Olive. An investigation led to Duygu A. Buyukerkan, age 21, of Denville, to be charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released with a court date pending.
  • 1/31/17: FRAUD: Officers were dispatched to a business on Knox Hill Road in Morris Township on a report of fraudulent transactions charged against the company's credit card. Incident turned over to the Detective Bureau.
  • 1/31/17: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Ptl. Anthony Brunone executed a motor-vehicle stop in Morris Township. An investigation revealed the driver, Robert W. Romain, age 39, of Newark, to have a suspended driver's license and a warrant for failure to appear Wanaque Municipal Court. He was turned over to the custody of the Wanaque Police Department.
  • 2/1/17: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Ptl. Christian DiGiralomo was dispatched to the Wharton Police Department on a report of an individual, Alan M. Fernicola, age 30, of Mine Hill, who had a warrant for failure to appear in court on Morris County Park Police Department charges. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility.
  • 2/1/17: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Ptl. Brett Rossi executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Morristown. An investigation led to Jonathan D. Mulholland, age 20, of Hillside, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released with a court date pending.
  • 2/2/17: HORSE BITE: Officers responded to the Seaton Hackney Stables in Morris Township on a report of a 54 year-old female who suffered a bite to her right ear. E.M.S. responded and transported her to the hospital for treatment.
  • 2/3/17: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Ptl. Christian DiGiralomo executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Madison. An investigation led to Stephanie Moya, age 20, of Perth Amboy, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. She was released with a court date pending.
