Duo Caught With 600 Heroin Decks On Route 80 In Morris: Cops

Troopers found full load in rear of patrol vehicle during arrest transport, police said.

ROXBURY - A man and woman driving on Route 80 in Morris County were arrested for having 600 bags of heroin in their car Tuesday night, New Jersey State Police announced.

At 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 8, Trooper Pawel Dabrowa stopped a BMW sedan at mile marker 28.4 on Route 80 for a moving violation, police said. During the stop, Pawel found 12 wax folds of heroin and a marijuana cigarette inside the car, police said.

As a result of the find, driver Jamie Guadagno, 29, and Unlee Sauveur, 32, both of Binghamton, New York were placed under arrest.

When troopers removed Sauveur from the back of the trooper’s vehicle at the Netcong Barracks, they discovered a bag containing 600 folds of heroin in the back seat, police said.

Guadagno was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. She was lodged in Morris County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail with a 10-percent option.

Sauveur was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was lodged in the Morris County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail full cash.
