Kayak tour and Roadhouse Social

Event:Kayak a country river with beer garden social

Location: Stanhope NJ

Pace:Casual Site seeing pace

ADVENTURE: The Musconetcong is a beautiful twisty river that flows through many farmlands and swamps in NJ until it ends at the Delaware River.  With many of its tributaries being trout production streams, the Musconetcong River is one of the finest trout fishing streams in New Jersey, and the spotting of turtles, herons, hawks and muskrats is common place. This is a beginner paddle perfect for a newbie or if your just out to bird watch and enjoy some nature and serenity. Everyone will receive some instruction on basic paddling technique as well as kayak familiarity before heading out. Our time on the water will take approx 3 hours with our riverside lunch break.

Here we will share stories of our trip at the fireside outdoor beer garden before heading back to the city. Check out the website http://www.stanhopehousenj.com
