Family-Owned Ice Cream Shop Expanding To Morristown
This summer, Stack Creamery, which specializes in customizable ice cream sandwiches, will open its third location.

MORRISTOWN, NJ ā A shop selling highly customizable ice cream sandwiches made entirely from homemade ingredients will soon be opening in the heart of Morristown.
Stack Creamery, based in Westwood, will open its third location at 48 Washington Street, replacing the Postmark. The company, which debuted in 2020, has been hard at work converting the former coin dealer into their latest outpost, which includes a full commercial kitchen and a customer-serving area.
The company is run by three siblings, two of whom left their jobs to start the venture, according to co-owner Mohamed Elnakib. The shop strives for the highest-quality ice cream sandwiches by using made-from-scratch, original recipe cookies and pairing them with premium locally made ice cream.

The relocation to Morristown represents a sort of homecoming for the company, as one of the siblings, Sondos, lives there. Elnakib said she happened to walk by the former Postmark location and noticed it had available space.
"We are all well aware of the amazing local community and the dramatic growth Morristown is experiencing and wanted to be a part of it," Elnakib said.

Stack Creamery, in addition to its customizable ice cream sandwiches, also operates as a traditional ice cream parlor, serving cups, cones and milkshakes. "We offer over a dozen original recipe cookies and homemade ice cream flavors as well as toppings, allowing you to create your own version of the perfect ice cream sandwich," Elnakib said.
Their custom ice cream sandwiches are made by combining a large scoop of any ice cream flavor with a homemade cookie, as well as crunchy and sweet toppings like chocolate or caramel drizzle, fruity pebbles, mini marshmallows and more.
The Elnakib siblings are thrilled to be bringing their favorite childhood dessert to the Morristown community, and they are planning a soft opening the week of July 4th.
"Weāre crossing our fingers here⦠However, this may be delayed if final inspections are delayed," Elnakib said.
