Farm-To-Table Restaurant Agricola Coming Soon To Morristown

The restaurant, which is right by the Morristown Green, says it will open in late 2021.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — In Latin, "Agricola" means farmer. Soon, Agricola Eatery will bring its farm-to-table presence to Morristown.

You may have seen Agricola setting up on 40 W Park Pl., right along the Morristown Green. Harvest Restaurants, which runs Agricola, says it will open it late 2021.

"Morristown is a hub for North-Central NJ as a home base, a destination and a workplace," said Jackie Wills of Harvest Restaurants. "With its walkable city center, state-of-the-art performing arts center, great shopping, reliable public transportation system and abundance of restaurants, Morristown truly has it all. The only thing missing is a dining destination like Agricola."

Agricola touts an experience of gathering with friends around a big table for a carefully crafted meal. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients from local farms, including the following:

  • Valley Shepherd Creamery, Long Valley
  • Ironbound Farm, Asbury
  • River Bend Farms, Peapack
  • Castle Valley Mills, Doylestown, Pennsylvania
  • Agricola Princeton executive chef personal farm
