Firetruck Crash In Morristown Sends 2 To Hospital
A Morris Township firefighter and a passenger were both sent to the hospital.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— Two Morris Township firefighters were sent to a hospital after a car drove their truck off the side of the road, Morristown Police said.
Morristown Police responded to a fire truck crash on Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. on Lafayette Ave between Morris Ave and Malcolm Street.
The Collinsville Fire Company had been responding to a service call when the firetruck was cut off by another car. The truck had to take "evasive action" to avoid a collision, and drove into a wooded area off the road.

Firefighter Michael Zucker and a passenger, Brandon McCloskey, were taken to Morristown Medical Center for minor pain. The fire truck was significantly damaged in the crash.
Police have not yet identified the second car involved, and the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Morristown Police Department at 973-538- 2200.
