First Night Morris Plans For Full New Year's Return
The major New Year's Eve celebration went virtual last winter because of the coronavirus pandemic.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Another major Morristown event will make a return. First Night Morris County — Morristown's major New Year's Eve celebration — will go fully live this time around, organizers announced Monday.
The event — perhaps the state's largest New Year's event — will follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, state and town. But as of now, that means no maximum outdoor capacity and no mask mandate.
The event went fully virtual last year because of the pandemic, but it still featured more than 100 artists and over 40 performances. Read more: First Night Morris County Going Virtual This Year Due To COVID
